Krishna Public School (“the School”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and Student Portal, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to students, parents/guardians and staff.
1. Information We Collect
- Student details: name, Student ID, class, section, roll number, date of birth, father’s name, mobile number, address, blood group and photograph (for ID cards).
- School records: attendance, examination details and fee/payment records.
- Payment information: amount, date, status and the Razorpay Payment ID. We do not collect or store your card, UPI PIN, CVV or net-banking credentials; these are handled by Razorpay.
- Technical data: basic usage and device information (for example through Google Analytics for Firebase), and data kept in your browser to keep you logged in.
- Messages: details you send us by email or phone.
2. How We Use It
- To run school administration: admissions, attendance, examinations, admit cards and ID cards
- To record and confirm fee payments, issue receipts and respond to payment queries
- To communicate with parents/guardians about school matters
- To keep the website secure and improve it
We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
3. Sharing and Service Providers
We share information only as needed with: Razorpay (payment processing, under its own privacy policy); Google/Firebase (login, database and analytics); Google Fonts and Google Maps (display). We may also disclose information when required by law or a government authority.
4. Children’s Information
Most data on this site relates to students who are children. It is collected through the School for educational and administrative purposes, and only parents/guardians and authorised staff can access it using the Student ID and date of birth. Parents may contact us to review or correct their child’s information.
5. Security and Retention
We use reasonable safeguards, including secure (HTTPS) connections and access-controlled accounts for staff. No system is completely secure. We keep records for as long as needed for school administration, accounts and legal requirements.
6. Your Rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your or your child’s personal information, subject to records the School must keep by law. Write to us at the email below.
